Filing status terms and what each one means

This glossary lists the status words official filing systems use, with what each one means in that system. The same word can mean different things. Companies House treats a queued digital document as received 1. At the SEC, an accession number does not mean EDGAR accepted the filing 2. The IRS treats a rejected return as not filed 3. Each meaning comes from the operator's own page or the rule behind it.
